Hello, my name is John Williams and I am running for Student Trustee. I have been a student senator here for the past year. You may have seen me in the halls around Parkland. You know that guy that always has a smnile? That's me! I try to listen to the concerns of all the students here at Parkland. I have received a total of 53 concerns from the students here at Parkland in the last 2 semesters alone and have addressed them all at the student government meeting every week. One concern I keep hearing about is the internet speed during peak usage hours around lunch. Well, I am committed to increase the internet capacity here at Parkland. I have also helped spearhead an MDA fundraising campaign this semester here at Parkland. I am completely focused on this position, and will have no distractions from my job. My resume may not be as long as some of my opponents. However, I am a people person and proud of it. My main concern is for you, the student, and if I am elected to be your Student Trustee I will continue to let your voices be heard.

Sounds like John is ready, able, and willing to do the job. He is really easy to talk to and cares about what you think. John will be a great student voice on the board of trustees. (Continued…)

The Parkland Student Government is a joke. I have read their statements for the past two years when I was in the nursing program and I found that there is no hope. (Continued…)
