This week, CrimeStoppers and the Rantoul Police Department are seeking information regarding a robbery.
On Wednesday, February 27, at approximately 10:30pm, Rantoul police officers responded to a robbery at the Liquor Locker, located at 820 East Champaign Avenue, Rantoul. The employee advised a subject entered the store and demanded money. The subject did not present any weapons, but through his actions, implied he had a weapon. The subject was given an undisclosed amount of money and left on foot eastbound from the business.
The subject is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall, with a thin build, wearing a black ski mask and black clothing.
Rantoul police detectives are requesting anyone having information concerning this incident to call CrimeStoppers at (217) 373-TIPS or the Rantoul Police Department at (217) 892-2103.
