The Quad City Times reported this past week that President Bush will be coming to Illinois later this month to take part in a fundraiser. This is his first trip to the state since January 2007. The Times reports that the event will be for U.S. House candidate Aaron Schock of Peoria.

Eastern is making the move from using H&H Shuttle Bus services to an in-house program beginning this August.
Two new buses were leased and the administration is finalizing the small details.

Our View Situation: By state mandate, Eastern must reduce 40% of our waste-stream, but we are currently at 33%. Stance: As a whole, we can get to 40% reduction easily with just a little bit of cooperation and action, but we shouldn't stop there. Eastern students ought to do a much better job recycling.

Not because of the food, but in protest of the fast food giant "throwing the full weight of their corporation to promoting the homosexual agenda, including homosexual marriage.
